my experience with the 'tompkins insurance agencies, inc.' agency is highly negative. i got a quote and decided to switch my policy to them. the salesperson was very friendly and the price was competitive. so i signed up and paid my first month's premium. about 10 days later they called to tell me they decided not to insure me and wanted to cancel my policy. they had done a more thorough review of my driving record and decided i was too high of a risk to insure. i was very frustrated, but i found another company to insure me.
