i'm rating the receptionist. i don't have an opinion on the agent i was scheduled to meet, because i was never able to actually meet him, thanks to the receptionist. i arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, and the receptionist was on the phone. she didn't acknowledge me when i came in and continued her conversation, although it was obvious i was waiting for her to finish. after she hung up the phone, she started answering emails. i said "excuse me" and she said, "i'll be with you in a second," and went back to answering email. a few minutes later, she finished answering the email, got up from her desk, and disappeared for about 10 minutes. when she came back, she said, "i'm sorry, but the agent you were scheduled to meet had to leave early for an emergency and won't be back today. i said "ok" and asked for a business card because i forgot the agent's name and wanted to call him later to reschedule. she went back to her desk and started going through cards and after a minute said, "we don't have any business cards." i found that hard to believe because i had seen her hand someone a business card just a few minutes earlier. i asked for the agent's name and phone number, and she said "i can't release that information." i told her i wasn't a reporter or a competitor and that i just wanted to call him to reschedule my appointment. she said, "i can't give you that information. if you need to call, you can call the main number and someone else will schedule you." i said, "ok" and asked her name so i could at least post a negative review of her online. she refused to give me her name. i said, "that's fine, i'll just give you a negative online review for refusing to give me your name or the agent's information and i'll be sure to mention the fact that you ignored me when i first came in." at that point, she magically produced a business card and said, "here you go." i took the card and left without saying another word.
