this insurance agency: 'perrine & whitaker, inc.' located in '1109 e champlain dr, fresno ca' consistently misses the mark on providing the benchmark of customer service which should be provided to all customers, new and existing. i sought out this agency for a quote on homeowners insurance primarily because of its proximity to my new home. initially, the sales process was professional and within a reasonable time frame. however, after my payment cleared and the policy was bound i received no less than 4-5 phone calls from the agency asking for information that i had already provided during the sales process. this was my first indication that something was amiss. more recently, i have had a claim which has been equally frustrating to deal with. the claim was initiated over a month ago and to date the claim has still not been paid in spite of repeated calls and messages to the adjuster handling the claim. the adjust has been rude and short on each occasion that i have spoken with her and has offered no explanation for the delay in processing my claim. in addition, she has been secretive about payments that have been made to contractors and has refused to provide me with any supporting documentation. i have been a state farm customer for over 20 years and have always been very satisfied with the level of customer service provided. unfortunately, my experience with this agency has been the complete opposite.
