i feel very disappointed and taken advantage of. we got insuranced with this company and after a claim, the company declined to cover it. the claim was house damage due to hail storm which should be covered based our contract. instead we were told our roof has too much damage from a previous storm. however, we just purchased the house before the hail storm. whatever damage there was on the roof, it was already there when purchased the property. when we called the previous homeowners and enquired about the roof damage that this new company is claiming, they confirmed that there was no damage on the roof before selling the property to us. we were asked to prove that the damage was from the hail storm but there was nothing we could provide from our side as nothing was damaged from our side. we didn't have the expertise to prove it. the company chose to decline our claim without providing much of a reason other than the company's inspector argued that there was a previous damage from a different storm. we are new homeowners and really needed the insurance payout to fix the roof and other damages on the house from the hail storm, but instead we were left with no support or coverage from this company. we are very disappointed with nvs's service and would highly recommend against to anyone looking to get insured with them.
