my father, who was in his late 80s with advanced alzheimer's, passed away in september 2022. because he had expressed the desire to be cremated, we contacted memorial pre-care, inc. to handle the arrangements. everything went as expected although we had to wait a few hours for his body to be transported to the crematorium. we were told that his cremains would be ready in two to three weeks. six weeks passed with no word from memorial pre-care so we called them. we were told that his cremains would be ready in another 2 to 3 weeks. we waited another 6 weeks and called again. this time we were told that the crematorium is backed up and that they were not allowed to tell us when we could expect his cremains. finally, after eleven weeks of waiting, we received his cremains. i am very dissatisfied with memorial pre-care's lack of communication and their inability to give us a better estimate of when we could expect to receive my father's cremains. they should have been more proactive in keeping us informed. i would not recommend this company to anyone.
they were very nice and caring, they answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable with our decision. they were also very professional and efficient, and they made sure that everything went smoothly. i would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a funeral home.
i don't have any experience with them providing services. my experience is solely related to a request i had for information regarding their services which i needed for my research purpose. i called and spoke to a gentleman named ronald, who was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the entire conversation. i asked him if they provided cremation services and gave him a brief explanation of what i needed their services for. he made several insensitive comments and stated they don't provide the service and hung up. i was shocked and appalled by his behavior. his conduct was deplorable and reflected poorly on the company. i hope the company will take appropriate action to address his unacceptable behavior.
