"louisiana companies is a joke and a scam. i called and spoke with one of the agents about getting home and renters insurance. i was given the total amount for both, and told to mail a check to the agency. i did so, and a few weeks later received both insurance cards. a few weeks after that i received a call from the company saying that i didn't pay all of the money that was due. i was confused since i paid the total amount i was quoted. i was then told that i had to pay additional money for flood insurance, which i never requested, and was never told that i needed. i refused to pay for the additional flood insurance, and within a week both my home and renters insurance policies were canceled. i immediately called another insurance company and had both my home and renters insurance set up within 30 minutes. avoid louisiana companies at all costs. they are unprofessional, dishonest, and will rip you off."
