i have been with cleveland stiff for at least 15 years now and have always had good service until recently. i have had two claims in the past year. the first claim i had issues with and susan walsh took care of this for me and helped me out immediately. i filed a claim on 7/17/2021 and i have been unable to even get a call back yet. i spoke to julie klama on 7/30/2021 and complained that i have heard nothing and that i needed to get my car fixed. she said my claim was being handled by susan and she would take care of it. i never heard back from her either. i again called on 8/2/2021 and spoke to a melissa thomas. she also said she would speak to susan and get back to me. i told her i would call her back on thursday 8/5/2021 if i didn't hear from susan. i called her back on 8/5/2021 and got her voice mail so i left a message and haven't heard back. i called back today 8/12/2021 and spoke to a nicole who was very rude and just kept saying there was nothing she could do. i told her i wanted to speak to a supervisor and she said they were in a meeting and would call me back. i explained that i had been trying to get answers now for over 3 weeks and i am tired of getting the run around and just wanted my car fixed. the supervisor finally did call me back and i told her my issues and she also was rude and kept saying there was nothing she could do and the claim would be handled by the adjuster and if i wanted my car fixed i would have to go to a collision center and pay for it up front and submit the claim. she said the adjuster would reimburse me. i have never had to do this in the past because when i filed my claim in the past the adjuster came out and took pictures and handled everything, i didn't have to pay for it up front. i am very disappointed in the customer service i have received from cleveland stiff lately. i normally deal with susan walsh and she is very helpful and gets things done. i understand that there has probably been a lot of claims from the recent hail storm but that does not give the company the right to completely ignore my claim and not even call me back. i have always been happy with cleveland stiff but lately i have thought about looking at other insurance companies.
