as of 06.21.2021, i received a call from al langton insurance after numerous calls from various insurance companies , they offered me coverage with progressive . immediately i went to the website and discovered that the name they gave was incorrect. after going to the correct website i discovered my quote was 29. ( not including taxes) less than what this agent quoted. i called al langton insurance back and spoke with monica, i was very unhappy with her tone when i asked why the difference in price. i received no answer and was asked to hold. a gentleman got on the phone and offered to match the price i had found {he never offered an explanation as to why the quoted price was so much higher). i explained that i was no longer interested in doing business with them. he asked "why" and i explained again - no explanation, price difference. he became argumentative. i have had my insurance with progressive for over 25 years. i would not have hesitated to go with al langton insurance, had the quote they initially provided been comparable. based upon my experience, i would not recommend this agent.
