i have been trying to get this insurance company to take responsibility for their negligence for months. i have been paying for renters insurance with them since 2018 and filed a claim in february of 2023 for damages to my apartment due to water damage from the unit above me. it took them almost six months to approve my claim and then they sent me a check for $7,852.38 which was less than half of what my claim was for. i have been calling and emailing them for months trying to get them to pay the rest of my claim and they keep giving me the runaround. my deductible was $500 and the total amount of my claim was $17,540.91, so i am owed $9,188.53. i have never had to deal with such an incompetent and unprofessional insurance company before. i would not recommend them to anyone.
