i opened a checking and savings account with this credit union. the process was smooth and easy and the people i spoke to were mostly friendly and helpful. however, one of the tellers was quite rude when i walked into the bank one day and wanted to ask a question about my savings account. she acted like she was annoyed i was there and didn't seem to want to answer my question. other than that, i have had a good experience with this credit union
i was told that i was pre-approved for a loan, even though i did not apply for a loan and was unsure my social security number and other personal information had been compromised. i contacted the credit union and they said that a loan had indeed been applied for in my name by an unknown person and that it had been caught and denied before any money was disbursed. they were able to open a fraud investigation and put an alert on my credit report. i appreciate that they were able to resolve this issue for me and protect my identity.
