i made an appointment to have the transmission in my buick lacrosse checked out because it wasn't shifting right. they called me later that day and informed me that my transmission was shot and that it would cost me north of $4000 to replace it. i had my car towed to a transmission shop i've dealt with in the past and they rebuilt my transmission for half the price.
i took my truck in for a recall update and an oil change. they replaced the airbags and performed an oilchange. after doing all of this, they failed to reset the maintenance light. i was not contacted after the update so i contacted them, only to be told they would have to order the part to fix their mistake, and that i'd have to bring my truck back for them to fix their mistake!? i took my truck to another shop and had them reset the light for free.
