usi federal credit union did not provide me with a preapproval letter to purchase a home so i was unable to get a final offer in the home i wanted to buy. after a month of me going back and forth with documents requested by usi federal, i still was unable to get the offer i needed so i went to a different financial institution and was able to get a preapproval letter within a matter of days. i believe usi federal could improve its loan process by optimizing its digital services. technology is great when it empowers the customer, and it should assist both the customer and the loan officer to get to the finish line quicker. i look forward to seeing usi federal adapt its technology in the future.
