What I thought would be a simple replacement of an expired debit card turned into a nightmare with this credit union. I visited my local branch at 3:30 pm and spoke with a gentleman named Marcus or Mark who informed me that my debit card would be mailed to me in 7 to 10 business days and there was nothing he could do to expedite the process. I explained that I had a flight in 4 days to Las Vegas and would need the debit card before then. Mark was extremely rude, unapologetic, and unwilling to help in any way. He also refused to give me a temporary debit card to use in the meantime. I then called the customer service number and the gentleman that I spoke with told me that there was no way that I could get a debit card before my trip. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was abruptly transferred to a lady named Allyson Benoit. Unlike Mark, Allyson was extremely helpful and willing to help. She said that she would process a rush order for my debit card to be delivered overnight. However, she could not guarantee the delivery by Friday. She sent me a confirmation email for my request and included a $25 off coupon for my troubles. I did receive the debit card the next morning and was very happy with the prompt delivery. It appears that the troubles I had initially were due to a lack of training and customer service on behalf of Mark.
