absurdity of the situation aside, my experience with this agent began with a bait and switch. i was put in touch with an agent to review a home and auto policy. the policy was a little more than i wanted to pay, however the agent told me that more discounts would be applied once i actually purchased the policy. i was told that i would be charged approximately 1100 for 6 months for home and auto. i purchased the policy through an online link sent by the agent. my coverage was set to begin on my existing policies end date, but rather than the payment being the amount quoted by the agent, the actual premium was $400 more, or $1500 for the 6 month term. i reached out to the agent to ask what had happened and was told that the amount i was quoted was incorrect and that the payment amount i was seeing was correct. i asked to cancel the policy effective the day i purchased it and was told that there was a $100 cancellation fee. this was not disclosed to me at any time prior to the purchase. i have filed a complaint with the insurance commissioner and will never do business with this agency again. i would give zero stars if i could. very disappointed.
