i will start off by saying i am really frustrated with the lack of response and urgency from this company. my husband and i are relocating back to the houston area on may 1st and are currently living 4 hours away. we have been looking at houses in the kingwood area and have found 2-3 that we love. we have been preapproved for a loan and are ready to put in an offer. given the market in houston, we knew we needed to get our offer in as quickly as possible, especially since we live so far away and cannot attend showings. we found a home that we loved and really wanted to put in an offer. we called on a friday evening and left a message asking if we could sign documents on saturday. we never received a call back. we called again saturday morning and were told to text a picture of our id's which we did immediately. we were then given the wrong loan application to fill out. we filled it out and submitted it back immediately. we called several times throughout the day on saturday and got no response. we tried again on sunday and were told our loan officer was off all weekend and we would need to wait until monday morning. we called first thing monday morning and were told that our loan officer would reach out to us. we did not hear anything for hours. we tried calling again and finally got through to someone who then told us that our loan officer was off again! we were completely frustrated by this point because it had already been several days since we first contacted the company. we finally got a call back and were told the loan officer would process the application right away. we did not receive any paperwork to sign until hours later and we were told if we didn't sign paperwork immediately, the seller would accept another offer. we were so rushed that we were not able to ask all of the questions we had and did not have time to review the closing documents. the whole process was extremely stressful and if we had not already sold our home, we would have found another lender. we closed on our home on may 1st. we had issues with the appraisal coming in low. the lender did not help us at all with resolving the issue and it was our realtor that ended up handling it! we asked for a copy of our loan estimate for our records and it took multiple requests over 4 days before we received it. now, 1 month after closing, we are getting calls from the lender asking for additional documents. we have already provided them with everything they asked for during the loan application process. the lender is not returning our calls and the loan officer that we were working with is no longer there! we are extremely frustrated with the service that we have received from this lender and would not recommend them to anyone.
