5 stars is not enough to express how great jamie bates(jmb) at real estate agent insurance services, llc was. i had just finished a difficult refinance on our first home purchase and jmb went above and beyond to make our second home purchase, seamless. we were set to close on 5 acres outside of georgetown in june but the day before closing, the septic failed. we were terrified because we thought 1) we were going to lose our dream land 2) if we could still buy it, the seller would want 100k off the price because of the work that needed to be done. jmb worked with us, our realtor, and the seller's realtor all weekend and late into the night to come up with an equitable solution. we ended up getting 75k off the asking price, which was less than the cost of fixing the septic. jmb made sure we understood all of our options and were making the best decision for our family. we love our new home and are so grateful for jmb's hard work and expertise. i highly recommend jmb to anyone looking for an insurance agent that will go the extra mile.

jamie bates at real estate insurance services provided excellent customer service. jamie helped me with the purchase of three rental homes in the past year. i would highly recommend jamie to anyone. he is very professional and knowledgeable. he answers his phone when you call him and always keeps you informed. i have used other insurance agents and he is by far the best.

they are not a real estate agent. they are more of a marketing company. my agent was jamie bates. a little over a year ago, i called him about selling a home in austin. he was very nice, but did not seem to know much about the real estate market. more importantly, he was unwilling to do any work. he told me that i needed to prepare the home myself, which included painting, cleaning, staging, etc. he also told me that i needed to do all the marketing myself. i asked him what he would do for me if i hired him, and he said that he would put my house on the mls and hold open houses. that's it. i could do all of that myself. i told him that i was not interested in hiring him, and he said that he understood. several months later, i received a call from jamie asking me if i was still interested in selling my home. i told him that i was, and he said that he would be happy to help me. this time, i asked him what he would do for me if i hired him, and he said that he would do everything that was necessary to sell my home. he would prepare the home, market it, and negotiate the sale. i asked him how much he would charge me, and he said that he would charge me 6%. i agreed to hire him, and he immediately went to work. he had the home professionally cleaned and painted, and he staged it with furniture and accessories. he also created a marketing plan and listed the home on the mls. within a week, we had several offers on the home, and we were able to sell it for a good price. i am very happy with the services that jamie bates provided. he was professional, knowledgeable, and he worked hard to get my home sold. i would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to sell their home.
