i've been using a mid-states policy for some years now, and for the most part, i have been satisfied. my only complaint is that it seems every year my rate goes up. this past year alone, it went up almost 20% ! i'm starting to question whether it's worth it to continue with this company. i'm afraid that if i switch companies, my rate will be even higher. but i'm also not willing to continue to pay such a high premium. i'm not sure what to do.

they would not refund me even though i cancelled my insurance the day after i purchased it. i contacted them within 24 hours of buying insurance and was told that i wasn't able to cancel my insurance. i spoke to a supervisor by the name of sarah and she gave me the run around about being able to cancel and then hung up on me. she also told me that it didn't matter if i cancelled my insurance within the 3 day rescission period because according to her i signed a contract and would not be entitled to a refund. i am in the process of filing a complaint with the bbb about the way i was treated by sarah. her behavior was very rude and unprofessional. she needs to be retrained on customer service skills.

i recently had to file a claim with aaa mid-states, and i was very impressed with the way they handled it. i had a tree fall on my car, and they were very quick to send out an adjuster. the adjuster was very professional and helpful, and he made the process as easy as possible. i was also very happy with the amount of the settlement. i would definitely recommend aaa mid-states to anyone looking for insurance.
