**this place is a joke.** i received 3 tickets from using zipcar in late 2020 from the city of chicago. after paying the tickets online through their own website (over $200), zipcar then charged me **$1500 for 'damages'** to the car. they then charged me another $500 for administrative fees, bringing my total bill to $2,000. despite multiple calls to customer service and emails to their billing department, all i got was the run around. i've emailed them and called them multiple times with no response. i finally decided to call my credit card company and dispute the transaction because i never received any invoice from them. i'm not sure why they are doing this and i'm not sure why they are not responding to my requests, but i will never use this service again and i would advise anyone else to do the same.
zipcar is a great way to get around the city without having to own a car. the cars are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. the cars are available 24 hours a day, so you can always find one when you need it. one thing to keep in mind is that zipcar can be a little expensive, but it's definitely worth it for the convenience and freedom it provides. **i would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an alternative to owning a car.**
i had a great experience with zipcar. the app was easy to use and i was able to find a car quickly and easily. the car was clean and in good condition. i would definitely use zipcar again.
