internal benefit advisors pushed me into purchasing a supplemental health insurance package when i started my new job. i often have to go to the doctor due to my chronic asthma which already requires 6 different medications, so i thought i needed the extra coverage just in case. i have never had to use my supplemental health insurance with iba and never will. i only use my primary health insurance and never use health care providers that could even accept my supplemental health insurance. internal benefit advisors has been pushing me for years to pay more money for extra coverage i will never use and lied to me about the benefits of the supplemental health insurance plan. when i finally realized that i've been paying hundreds of extra dollars per year to internal benefit advisors for no reason, i called to cancel. i was on hold for 45 minutes before hanging up. i emailed to cancel and received no response. i had to call again and ask for a supervisor, who allegedly sent a cancellation request to the benefits department. despite this, i'm still getting charged. i've called customer service many times, and they have given me the runaround and continue to charge me for a supplemental health insurance policy i don't need and will never use.
internal benefit advisors (iba) is one of the worst companies i have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. they are incredibly disorganized, slow to respond, and generally unhelpful. i have been trying to cancel my supplemental health insurance with them for over a month now, and they have still not processed my request. i have called multiple times and emailed several times, and i have yet to receive a satisfactory response. they keep telling me that they are working on it, but nothing ever happens. i am extremely frustrated and disappointed with iba, and i would not recommend them to anyone.
very quick and easy. easy to follow and understand. the online system was easy to follow and understand. you have the option to pay for a yearly premium or a monthly premium. very quick and easy to file a claim. you can file a claim online. within 48 hours i had my money.
i went to the website to get information about their dental insurance options on 10/11/2022. i filled out all my information and submitted it. within 5 minutes i received a call from an iba representative named michael. he went over the options that met my needs and i selected the plan. michael was very helpful and knowledgeable. my dental insurance card was received in 2 days.
