red river commercial insurance did everything right at the time of sale. even though my boat is at my home in florida, the agent told me to take it to a repair shop in alexandria to handle the claim. the repair shop gave me a figure of what the repair would cost and this information was relayed to red river. red river then agreed to pay the cost. however, when i took the boat to the shop, the shop said the cost would be double what red river had agreed to pay. i called red river to see if they would agree to pay the additional amount, but they refused. i was surprised the agent had not asked for an estimate before agreeing to pay for the repairs. now i am stuck with a $2000 repair bill because red river won't honor their commitment.
i had red river commercial insurance for many years with no problems, then they decided to cancel my policy for a reason they couldn't even explain. i repeated asked for an explanation but got nothing. i took my business elsewhere and was approved in minutes. red river is the worst, avoid them at all costs.
