i have been a customer of value underwriters for over 10 years and have always been happy with their service. they have always been quick to respond to my needs and have always been fair and reasonable in their dealings with me. i would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an insurance company.
i applied for a homeowners insurance policy in florida through value underwriters as they were one of the few companies that would insure me with a sinkhole risk. the policy was issued in a timely manner and the premium was reasonable. however, when it came time to file a claim, the company was very difficult to work with. the claims adjuster was rude and condescending, and he made it clear that he was looking for any reason to deny my claim. i eventually had to hire an attorney to help me get my claim approved. even then, the company only paid a fraction of what i was owed. i would not recommend value underwriters to anyone.
